In this improv, continuous shot & single take short film, quirky author Lori R. Lopez becomes The Famous Reclusive Hat Model Violet Dupree who is trying to read her book in peace. Noel and Rafael Lopez play an interviewer and his cameraman who track down and insist on questioning the recluse celebrity.
This very different funny book trailer for the THE QUEEN OF HATS, presented by Fairy Fly Entertainment, was filmed on location in Mission Trails Regional Park in San Diego, California. It was originally going to be a daytime shoot, but delays caused it to get dark, so our team adapted to the night. It was filmed in one take and entirely improv with only names and a general premise to begin with. The beginning was edited for length in an otherwise continuously shot scene.
