I drew Mulan for Ming-Na Wen (voice actor for Mulan). I gave her a print that I signed to her at the February 2016 LA Comic Book And Science Fiction Convention, and I asked her to sign another copy for me. I was honored to meet her, and she was really nice! She said my drawing was beautiful and she loved the eyelashes.
I started this digital painting on 1-29-16 with the free open-source art software Krita. I used the techniques that I developed while drawing Elsa from Frozen (which I’m still working on), and I drew Mulan in a similar style.
