“How many wistful dreams are cast upon the stars at night?” Family folk Band The Fairyflies perform a song written in 1992 by Lori R. Lopez, for the first time!
“I wrote KEEP THE HEART OF A CHILD to remind people they don’t ever have to lose hope or give up on dreams. They don’t need to stop feeling young at heart, feeling they missed their chance to be happy due to the troubles they experienced. It’s a reminder for kids to not grow up too fast, however challenging or damaging life may be. At the same time, it voices a broader struggle about healing Society and the world, striving for Peace, something I think we can all relate to both personally and collectively.” ~ Lori R. Lopez
This live musical performance was recorded in 2015 and features the family trio singing and Lori playing guitar. They plan to keep recording and releasing original music written by Lori decades ago as well as new music.
